Because he 'saves', in terms of watches, he would save for his Holy Grail.

The rules are the rules and we must abide by them, but I must say, if anybody was offended, they have issues.

Welcome to TRF! I missed your previous thread...

Do you have any other questions everyone can answer now that you have our attention?

Whoa. While I wasn't offended, per se, I was put-off by the content of the original post's question. But if someone was offended, perhaps someone not of that faith (full confession, I'm not) I wouldn't deny them the right to be offended, or upset. Why does that mean they have "issues"?

We've (society) gotten to the point where we cannot say anything without stepping on somebody's toes or hurting somebody's feelings. It's an effect of being too politically correct and it's only going to get worse. We have to draw the line somewhere and I did it in this thread. This is not about being religious or non-religious. It is about knowing when something is said in jest and treating it as such.

. . . . just to say . . . . I am totally "blown away" by your acceptance, support, warmth, and total sincerity in welcoming and encouraging me back to the forum.

Regarding "my spanking" . . . . God forbid, that I start another thread entitled , , , , "my Rolex spanking".

After the initial backlash I received from "What Rolex would Jesus wear" which led to the closure of the thread by mod Rob. I immediately sent Rob an apology . . . . and was completely taken aback by his immediate response.

He was completely understanding by starting off with "we all make mistakes" and continued the "spanking" by sincerely encouraging me to keep posting, as there are many fine people on the forum, willing to help and assist me regarding anything Rolex.

. . . . And yes BNALION, I do have many questions that you guys can answer, "now that I have your attention" - but will keep that for other threads (shortly).

- As stated before "I am completely blown away by your total support and encouragement"

I now, really feel a part of TRF.

Many thanks

fario
