Good evening everyone.. I need some help with this listing..
Regardless of any thought(s) out there believing boxes, manuals etc are irrelevant.. I hear where your coming from. But I believe they are still important to enough peeps in the world. Thanks for the help gents! http://www.ebay.com/itm/181682375507 |

Box is real..other stuff looks fine too. Seller is from HK, where sets like this are easy to find.

Not sure if you're aware, but that style box with the "c cup" cuff inside was only used for a very short period of time, like 2002-2003. Not technically correct for earlier or later vintages.

It was available from around 2000 to 2005, just before the greenwave came in.

I still think it was shorter than that. Not 100% sure on the beginning date but positive that the wave boxes surfaced with early F-serials. I guess there's also the error factor of individual dealer implementation.

As long as the OP's 16610lv is Y or up to mid-F serial, he'll be fine. Dealers took some time to use up their stocks of the older boxes. I would also ask about the print date in the back of the Sub booklet. It's just a small thing, but good to get it right. Somewhere within a year or two earlier than the watch serial estimate would be fine.

Ah, now I agree! Knowing this set is intended for a flat 4 LV would have helped alot prior to dispensing advice .
