Finally Found A Genuine Tudor Sub Bracelet
What do you think guys, I couldn't resist this new (old stock) genuine Tudor bracelet when it appeared at a local Rolex shop. I am not sure if I prefer it to the military band I originally had on it (last pic), but it's growing on me slowly. I might have to alternate when the mood takes me.

It looks amazing! Good call you got that bracelet!
Looks much better than on the NATO, imho.

That bracelet is excellent. It is so much better than the nato strap IMHO that you will never look back.

Phil,
Love the bracelet AND the snow flake Tudor. Now you have options. dP

Definetely the bracelet.
I also have a Blue Tudor (later model than your beauty). In order to preserve the original bracelet because it has a few dings, I put my blue beauty on a nylon strap and stored the bracelet. Well, I can't tell you how much I dislike the look of the watch on that nylon strap. I know these straps are popular, and many TRFers like them. But IMHO, it makes my blue sub look like a trinket watch won at an amusement park game. I don't like wearing it anymore.
Maybe I don't have the right strap.... but the bracelet is a much better match. I am thinking of changing it back or getting another SS bracelet that might fit. |

Fine score Phil my friend - I think it will look better and better with time as well - once the bracelet has lost it's newness and 'matches' the Sub.
Looks pretty good on either though TBH - Neil.

nice - in fact so nice i had bought one about a month
ago that FINALLY arrived this morning
and interestingly, have the exact same bracelet with the fliplock - and i found it odd the clasp did not have a depression for the fliplock pc to "hide" in your's is identical so that takes care of that wonderment but nice watch, congrats & thanks for sharing - i'll probably go the same route with a zulu or a custom strap from Jurgen - he had some interesting dark grey distressed pilot's jacket leather |

Correct me if I am wrong .. it looks to me from the pics the side of the bracelet is shiny polished type. For vintage submariner type bracelet, I think the side should be the satin type .....

Not sure Bagel, this is the 78500 with 380B end pieces which according to my Rolex man, superseded the original 9315 with the 380 end pieces. He said it's just slightly heavier (stronger) than the earlier one. I have been trying to get a 9315 for the past three years now, and apart from the odd rough one on fleebay, there are none of them about anymore. Although the 78500 is no longer made, some Rolex service centres still have the odd one left, so I figured it's good enough and better than nothing (or after market).

actually, my has the 9315 and it's sides are shiny or
polished - and i believe it's original that way
if the 78500 is heavier guage, that's the way to go - this 9315 feels, looks flimsy, especially the flip lock pc - it feels awfully "tinny" or light guage metal |

What a beauty! I took my original Riveted 7206 bracelet off out of fear and replaced it with a newer oyster band.

A lovely snowflake you have there. I have an old 5513 ND sub and tend to switch between an Oyster band and a Nato strap as the mood takes me. I'm not sure about the blue / green combo though. Have you tried a grey nato?
Cheers - Simon |

For both 78500 and 93150, the sides of the links are satin type.
For 78360 and 78400, the sides of the links are shiny polished type. |

and sorry, i should have been more specific, on my 9315, it's the clasp sides that are polished / shiny, rest is how bagel indicates, satin real lightly brushed finish |

curious, how the 93150 differs from my 9315
my 9315 has folded links, are the 93150 links the same?
