Icon14 OCROLEXGUY - an excellent seller

Hey everyone,

I'm a new poster on the forum, but a long-time Rolex owner (inherited 1952 Semi-bubbleback - 6084). I wanted to expand the collection and displace a few lesser watches, so started investigating...and wound up wanting a SubC 116610 lv or a GMT ii 116710 BLNR. I went to my AD to look and maybe buy, and was hit by a wall of snobbishness, despite having recently taken my wife's Datejust in for a full service about a month earlier at this same AD. I could look at, but not touch the 116710. I could look at, but not touch a stainless Daytona. I did't see a SubC. I was told that these items were sold at "the owner's discretion", and was given the impression that he would not deign to sell me a watch. Exercising "customer's discretion", I left and came here.

I spent a few days reading every single review, for sale ad, etc. and wound up selecting OCROLEXGUY (Patrick) as one of the more solid vendors here to do business with - who also had the watch I had decided on. Patrick was patient, answered all my questions, had excellent and near-instantaneous communication and, best of all, shipped me a perfect NIB SubC with everything just as promised. I couldn't be happier. Take this as a single data point from a n00b poster with no post history on this board...OCROLEXGUY is a top-notch vendor. I will definitely work with him again when it's time to expand the collection.

OK...a follow-up. When I received my SubC, I had trouble removing the owner's manual from the top of the Rolex box (was wedged in very tightly), and wound up tearing the first couple pages in the process. I called and asked Patrick if he had any access to a spare manual...and a new one showed up at my home address a couple days later! Unbelievable. What excellent service. I could not be happier - thanks.
