I got it from my AD a couple of years ago. Funny thing is that at first I was reluctant to use it, now I use it daily.

And for less friendly or affluent trips, I have my L.L. Bean Large nylon duffle and my newly DLC'ed Explorer II. All under the radar.

This thread turned into the Filson bag thread!
Just like the "Steering Wheel" thread became the BMW thread, and the vintage Rolex "Gratuitous Photo" thread became the "Sub/GMT" thread.
Guess I'll have to investigate the Filson fuss...

Me as well. All I know of Filson is the call I got from my AD asking what I thought of their watches, which are now made by Shinola (for which he is an AD). When I went to the Filson site I was surprised.

Lots of love in our house for Filson, but my EDC bag is an Emil Erwin Mailbag.

I have this Solo bag which I think is on the left in your photo:

I bought it slightly used on Ebay. When I needed the shoulder strap replaced I emailed the company, fully expecting to pay for the new strap. They sent it for free.

No such thing as too much Filson or too many Rolex's! They are both built with the quality to last a lifetime!
