Help with fitting bracelet onto Rolex Date 1500
Hey all,
I bought the watch with a 7835 folded bracelet with 357 endlinks for my 34mm case. (watch is a 1968 Rolex 1500) These fit properly but I have a few issues: 1) Bracelet is too big and I don't want to unfold the links in case I sell the watch later 2) Area between 357 endlinks and bracelet is crumpled (I hear this is a common problem). I went out and bought an aftermarket bracelet that had solid links and supposedly fit Air Kings and OP Dates of the 34mm case size. (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/160835199947?...84.m1439.l2649) The links they provided with the bracelet didn't fit, so after asking around I got some 557 endlinks (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/310411747163?...84.m1439.l2649). After weeks of waiting unfortunately those end links don't work either. - End piece is too high - Only 1 side of the springbar can clip on at any time - Bracelet link that goes into the end piece becomes very stiff and hard to move (Imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/GMnyo) I'm out of ideas and desperately want to get this watch on an Oyster bracelet. Should I look at 257 end links instead? Or does this the bracelet's fault? Update: I've managed to get the bracelet on w/ 557 endpiece, but this is what it looks like: http://imgur.com/GfBkyCI |

You want a 78350 solid link bracelet with 557 end links. The 78350 is the newest bracelet possible for a 1500.
