Icon5 Help me with this 1603

Legit? What's a good price for this? No service history, "runs well."

Nothing jumps out to me... watch looks right for a 1603. It also appears to have been recently refinished and well preserved overall.

Servicing one of these watches can become a pricey endeavor if it needs parts... what is the asking price?

About 1.8k without the mismatched strap.

$2,800. Too high, right?

Yep, for that price, I would want a good original bracelet, box and papers. I got a nice 1603 last year, from a US seller here on TRF, with all that plus some original accessories, for 2.3k including Fedex to Hong Kong.

Thanks, this guy has no service history, but says watch runs well. Plus, an "oil" stain on 6 marker and obviously, a leather strap and no original bracelet.

Looks pristine, but we need to come down on the price... asking for more info as we speak.

Is it said to be all original? If so, why does it look like the patina on the marker lumen and patina on the batton hand lumen mismatched? Should be the same coloring/aging correct?

"Runs well" doesn't mean anything. And like smowery says, I think the hands are replacements. There's a massive supply of 1603s out there...keep looking. HQ Milton usually have a couple of nice ones for sale. Check out this 1601: http://www.hqmilton.com/watches/1972...-textured-dial
