Audemars Piguet Chronometer

Hi, i am back :-)
I absolutely don't understand to this model. Why is it COSC certified? I thought AP had it's own standards, that where higher than COSC. Now it just seems that the other models are less accourate than COSC standarts and that this one is something special, like "This is the most accourate watch we offer, the other ones are worse." and for a brand like AP, i think thats an epic fail. Any thoughts?

I mean, i really like AP but this was quite a shock ...
