Sea-Dweller 4000?
I wonder if this eBay watch is a bad fake, a good fake, or genuine?
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Rolex-Sea-Dwe...item2ee0882dfd Seller has a low feedback count and doesn't provide many details. To me, the numbers on the bezel don't look crisp (for example, the 40) and the five minute markers don't look enough different from the one minute markers. The first picture is from the eBay auction and the second picture is from Google images from a web page with news about Rolex introducing the Sea-Dweller 4000 at Basel 2014. TRF experts? Any opinions? |

I say fake. Should the LEC be that visible? Also, looks like he has only purchased items on the bay and not sold.

The watch looks real to me, not saying that it is a good buy, that it isn't stolen etc, but the watch looks OK at a first glance.

Something about the way the ceramic insert sits in the bezel looks off
It's a difficult one, I would stay away |

Fake. Look at the crown guards. They are Submariner-C style, not Sea-Dweller 4000 style which are more narrow like the previous generation Submariner.

This watch is being sold locally where I live. Not sure if it is the same person but the Ebay item location is Albert.
By the way, it is also listed locally for sale. |

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-jewelry-watch...ationFlag=true The pillow and background look the same, but the watch bezel and crown guards are different. Same seller two watches? Unusual coincidence with two sellers? |

Yeah sounds fishy.
I sent him a message asking if he has the same watch listed on ebay and he responded: "nope. its not my ebay - its a different watch - take a closer look" Not sure? |

Lugs and more obvious the crown guards are wrong on the first watch. Second looks better but I wouldn't trust it. Never trust a man with a brown pillow.
