Is there a particular reason why you require to source a replacement sticker?
As IMO its a natural progression and shows that the watch is being used.

The watch is in new condition with box, hang tags, etc but I "cleaned" the watch and the sticker clear portion started to peel up after cleaning. It has been worn less than 20 times since new a it is a W serial number watch. I was just wanting a replacment sticker for it considering the watch condition.

Yup. Some say the sticker could case steel pitting (corrosion). I believe this rarely happened, but might be a reason for Rolex omitting the glued on sticker and going over the the easy peel-off clear caseback sticker.

Don't worry too much about it, TR. As stated, only rarely did steel pitting occur, and mostly on Rolex watches that have been in contact with sea water on a regular basis.

Hey TR, I have seen pics. from guys who got their watches wet all the time and the moisture will stay under the sticker and cause discoloration or pitting eventually. My Ad told me that Rolex recommends removing them at time of purchase, why would you want to feel plastic on your wrist instead of the cool steel anyway.

The Hologram sticker was part of Rolex anti-counterfiet measures..

If you could go out and buy one it woud defeat the whole purpose of it.

It´s always nice when you got some spare stickers.

But is´t not easy to get them.

Showing signs of pitting already, this thread should become a STICKY!

This may sound like a silly question, but why do you want a sticker? Are you planning on selling the watch with the sticker....or do you just want to paste the sticker on the back of the watch and wait for it to gradually fade away?

You could try these contacting these places:

Qualityme.net Proprietor is John E. Brozek, author of the book "The Rolex Report".

Rolex items site. EXPENSIVE site, but maybe they can help you out?

None of them seem to have the stickers at the moment, though, but at least you can ask the proprietors if they can find some for you.

Also, check out eBay. The stickers pop up once in a while. Like these ones.

I am looking to sell the watch and wanted a new sticker for it. If it wasnt for me cleaning the watch my sticker looked new because it has been worn very little.

Fair enough......but the buyer will still know that the watch is not brand new. As long as you're being honest about it.....that's fine!! Good luck on the sale!!

Yep...I am a trusted seller on many forums and Ebay. Would disclose that the sticker was replaced and why I replaced it.
