Sub Date.

Just wondering, is this a random question? Because these 2 watches are quite different in terms of look and function.

sub date for me because my time spent in casual / informal settings far, far outweigh my time spent in dressier settings these days

The genesis of the question is that these have always been the two watches that represent Rolex to me. I made the Sub Date my first choice (as a fifth anniv. gift from my wife) seven years ago. Then, for our tenth, returned the favor and got her a Ladies TT DJ. My turn again (only our twelfth but I guess I've been a good boy!) and she just got me a TT DJ - the other watch I had "always" wanted (Jub, fluted, white stick dial).

First day wearing the DJ as it arrived promptly via FedEx from Watch Chest this morning (super smooth transaction, and a beautiful watch as promised. K series w/zero stretch in the bracelet, literally looks like it is brand new!) The Sub is getting a well earned day off, snoozing in the padded box the DJ came in, after daily wear for the last seven years!

So now I have both and can alternate wearing them... with these two and my wife's DJ guess the next purchase is a watch winder... any thoughts on a good one?

I would send pics but quite honestly I just don't know how to attach them.

It was me, but with a caveat of TT DJ over Sub, but SubC over TT DJ
