Which Panerai are you wearing today...
In addition to Nick's answer i'll add some informations
Model's reference is PAM000001Q FIRENZE 001 was produced from OP as followed : PAM00001 - Luminor Marina - Acier - 44mm - Cadran noir - OP II Pre-A : 1000 A : 1500 B : 3000 C : 4000 D : 3500 it presended again last fall in the P-Day 13 of paneristi.com in Venice ( together with the 605) PAM00001 - Luminor Marina "Firenze" - Acier - 44mm - Cadran noir - OP II Q : 159 It's not a Special Edition but a standard edition. But you can only purchase it from the Officine Panerai boutique in Florence (FIRENZE). The features that used OP in order to look like the hard to find (and for that reason super expensive) Pre-V models are : Pre-V style numbers new lume color (like tritium) L-SWISS-L (as T-SWISS-T) |

Thanks for the info, Panos. Great watch.
Interesting to know that it's a regular production model... I thought the "Q" in "0001Q" meant one series. More is better. |

Now that i see it again, i think that the Q in the reference is my mistake. Rumours say that will be another 90 pieces in the R series and no more. Will see. Awesome 164 |

Maybe the model is the "001 Firenze"? I haven't yet figured it out. What's not a mystery is how awesome it is. Enjoy my friend. Four lines, fat indexes, 8 days, that perfect font, Florence connection, Bettarini case, solid back with engraving.... So much to like! I even like the ecru lume with this one (especially with the white contrasting text). :-) |

Thank you my friend
Everything correct except the movement. It has the OP II based on the old workhorse ETA 6497/2 with 56 hours power reserve. |

In many way, that's even better! Both in terms of ease of service and historical correctness. :-) Thanks for all the info. |
