Not for me. I don't like anything about this watch. Not the case, not the bracelet and certainly not the fact that it needs a battery. It's just not a Rolex for me.

I think the ticking thing is something of a go-to criticism of the OQ (like the "short hands" on the 39 mm Exp 1), so it's sometimes perceived as being more prominent than it actually is.

The ticking on mine is certainly more noticeable than that of a purely mechanical piece, but I haven't found it to be loud at all. It's a nice solid reassuring sound IMHO.
