Sub in this case. Now, I'll throw another idea in the mix. What if you were considering a PP5711 .....

I just like the Sub better, I might be tempted by a basic steel RO way down the road...might after every other watch I want is either in the stable or has been.

Neither are on the radar for me but between the two sub all the way. Not an ROO chrono fan. I give diver its props but that's where it stops!

AP. The construction and finishing is over Rolex by a significant margin...and I love my Rolexes! Maybe for the full YG Sub...

Tough call. With the Sub you will have a PM which is an amazing feeling. With the AP you will have a more sporty feeling watch with a very comfortable strap.

The - about the AP is the bezel is a scratch magnet and depending on your shirt cuff size can look a little sloppy. The model is relatively new so a used one will be hard to locate. If this is a decision you regret latter it will cost you.

The - about the Sub is the PCL will show swirls and if you use a MacBook will absolutely scratch, however the bezel is just awesome at staying pristine!!

Try them BOTH on and buy the one that sings to you!!!

WG Sub for me. It is a watch that I dream about getting some day.
I do like that ROO though too. I like the colours and size of it a lot but in my mind there is no comparison to the WG Sub.

WG Sub for me.

The angular appearance of APs don't really appeal to me.

I don't like the ROO reference. I'd go with the Sub easily here.

Sub. The Jumbo or ROC would make it a tougher choice for me.

Personally I would choose the finishing/movement/uniqueness of that ROO over simply same object in gold but only by a sliver. Both are beautiful pieces and while I am new to the watch world a WG sub is hopefully 3rd on my list after I acquire a ROO and a Nautilus (some years!!)
