Without an education, skilled labor seems to be the way to go.

The oilfield is another. I work with guys on the rigs that make well over 100k a year, and people with specialties (liscensed mechanics and electricians, other oilfield specialties) can make more. Those that put in the time and gain enough experience can move into management roles and then the pay and bonuses go up. I think it's great, because most of the guys have little or no education and quite a few come from rough backgrounds. But they're all working hard and building a life for themselves and their families.

The caveat is that it's hard, and at times dangerous, work with a schedule that most people are not willing to do (hence the pay). Most of the guys that I work with now are doing a 2 week on, one week off schedule. When working, it's seven days a week with 15 or 16 hour days.

Well I'm sure ideally that's what most people would like to do :chuckle I don't think he meant it to be taken to seriously. I guess it's alludes to the idea that there might be a lot more competition and there might be a better chance of it happening the other way around.

Invest in a top colour printer, get the right paper and print yourself some $20 dollar notes, go out late at night to poorly lit bars when people are drunk and buy one drink in each and pocket the change.

Not sure what age you were when you felt that way but I spent my 20's saying the same thing to myself, then things changed.

Yes, that's what I think he may have been hinting at haha. I was only a teenager at the time. Actually I am getting married in September so I have slowly changed over the years haha

the first time you replied on this post was about a wrong spelling, poor grammar, bad punctuation and etcetera. evidently, you have a higher sense of literature but im leaving that first post untouch. anyway, if the first post is a quantum physics i will not stop until i get the the correct answer. it is a common sense to a low educated person such myself would never ever do good in academic literature. i'm simply not good at that field!!

base on the survey of income census in the usa 19.9% makes over $100k annully, if you made in to that percentage you can buy oyster perpetual or omega seamaster for almost every month.

Stay out of consumer debt and use every excess dollar to Buy when others are selling... Homes stocks and just hold on for the ride.... That's how a HS grad retires at 55 with $6000 a month Thats good Enough.

To the OP you might want to start by staying off TRF. This place can make you spend money you don't have buying goods that you don't need. Other than that whatever you do in life even if it's cleaning toilets be the best at it and all the right cards will fall into place.

If that's your goal, then go for it dude. But be sensible. Focus first on becoming who you want to be and go into something you're genuinely passionate about & can excel in. The money will follow and you can then spend as you like.

My only advice is be ambitious, be smart but remain humble at all times. A lot of people on this forum are very successful (probably not from spending all of their disposable income on watches but instead on other sound investments) but you'll be hard to find another forum with such down to earth people. There's been some great advice mentioned already and I hope you're taking it on board!

You just need to look for good investment opportunities. I recently opened an account with one of the largest Nigerian investment firms. They promised to double my investment every year. As you can imagine, that can add up very quickly. Plus, the firm is backed by the prince himself so it's basically no risk and all reward!!!
