Icon20 Help Needed

Hi

Is there anybody that can throw any light on this vintage Rolex? Wondering what the value is likely to be? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

It's a late 1930s 9k gold dress watch. Model number is 3140. There's a couple here with serial numbers very close to yours (41332): https://www.collectorsquare.com/en/r...olex-3140.html

adam (or anybody else) have you ever purchased or sold a watch from "collectersquare"?

I was interested in trading a few watches of mine plus cash for a rolex from them, but could not get any reviews from the forum here about them.

Is this one of those situations when it is not financially viable to spend money on restoration - i.e. You would never recover your outlay - unless the watch had huge sentimental value and you did it with a view to it becoming a family heirloom.

The ones Adam linked looked in good condition, the one below that the OP has does look pretty beat up - sorry !!!
