They both look good on your wrist but the DJ is a better size for you.

The big question is do you need to know which day it is?

The DD is awesome but I feel the 31mm DJ suits your wrist better. Good luck!

I think so far the consensus is that the 31mm fits me better, but the 36mm could also work, especially since I prefer it.

Finally, does anyone definitively know if with all removable links removed, whether the DD will fit a 5.5" wrist? I scoured the forum, but couldn't find the answer or any pictures.
To me, the DJ looks much better on your wrist, the DD is just too big IMHO.

The most telling piece for me is your comment about preferring to the 36mm size...as we can all speak from experience, go with your instinct if that is what you prefer. Otherwise, you're going to regret not getting the 36mm size.

Let us know what you decide.

Hi Everyone, I finally made a decision...and decided to go with the DD. While I get that the 31mm is probably better suited for my wrist, I already have two 26mm DJ and in all honesty, there wasn't much of a visible size difference between the ladies and the mid.

Since I started this thread, I briefly thought about getting a 36mm SS DJ with a diamond bezel on an oyster band, but my husband said that eventually I would still want a PM watch and he's told me this is it. So then, I considered a RG DD with a meteorite diamond dial and fluted bezel, or possibly even trying to source a previously owned platinum DD with a glacier blue diamond dial and smooth bezel, thinking that maybe the combination of YG and diamond bezel was a little over-the-top blingy.

However, in the end, I stuck with my first choice of new, YG, mop and lots of diamonds!! The watch has been special ordered and should be here in 2-3 weeks. Can't wait to show y'all when it gets here. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and honest opinions. I have learned so much here.

Hi everyone, I wanted to provide a quick update. My new watch arrived and it is perfect. I am so happy that I decided to go with the larger DD!!

DAVIDSW special ordered a brand new watch for me and he was really great to work with, as this was my first non-brick and mortar purchase. I admit, I was initially apprehensive, but he was very responsive and patient in answering all my questions via email and phone. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to work with him again.

Still in the coffin and with the 5-year warranty!!

I am glad you got the one you wanted. You don't have to apologize to anyone for wearing that watch.

A beautiful woman can pull off wearing a burlap sack.

You are beautiful.

And your watch is not a burlap sack.

So, without any doubt whatsoever, you are good to go!

Congratulations, enjoy, wear it in good health, and appreciate that you will be able to read the time without reading glasses for some time to come.

For these kind of watches worn by a female I like when there's a bit of skin visible above and below, so I vote for the DJ. For the technological argument of a watch geek I have to vote for the DD. do need the functionality? If so you could pull it off, otherwise, I'd stick with the DJ...
