Your Favorite Tourbillon

I've become increasingly enamored with tourbillons lately. I'd love to see pictures of everyone's favorites, either those in your collection already or those you hope to own one day.

My favorite has to be either the Journe Tourbillon Souverain in PT with Jade dial or the RM27-02 that was just released

I like ALS and JLC offerings but I'd probably choose the sportier RG RO Tourbillon

I really love looking at a Tourbillon, and I appreciate what goes into a high end one, I just can't shake the feeling that an Tourbillon visible through the face In a watch that is not open worked is just gimmicky, I would almost say that Tourbillons in general are just a gimmick in modern watchmaking, especially in wrist watches, but they are so mezmerizing to look at, you just not love them. Therefore, I appreciate Pateks and a few other brands that put the Tourbillon on the back only.

I personally feel a Tourbillion that cannot be seen is a waste and quite useless

I'm a simple guy so a Patek 3939 would suffice.

Agreed, just the beautiful movement finishing on a Patek, it can be seen through the Sapphire display back.

They are a (expensive) gimmick - they point of a tourbillon is to correct against the effect of gravity, which affects pocket watches due to their static position in a waistcoat.
Wristwatches are constantly varying their position, thus making a tourbillon redundant.

Still doesn't stop them being impressive pieces of micro-engineering, but that's the only point in buying one.

Yeah, real work goes into them, the hand finishes are impeccable, though with a price to match.
