Diver extension links!! How??

Just playing with my Sea Dweller (nothing on TV tonight).

How is the "diver extension link" supposed to work on my Fliplock bracelet?

I can see that by pressing where the 'O' is stamped into the link, it hinges up and releases this part of the strap from the bracelet. But, at this point, is the strap actually longer than when it's clicked back in?

Just pondering!! Like to know how things work.....

When it pops up after pressing the O give the bracelet a little tug and it will release from the clasp and extend. It should extend the bracelet about an inch and a half.

Just follow these simple pics.....and you'll be fine. Remember to pull the extension upward at right angles to the other link.

Sorry Mike, I'm still not with it!!

Pressed on the 'O' and it pops up. Give it a tug and this part of the strap comes away from the clasp. But I can't see how the strap gets any longer.

Think I'm missing something here.....

A picture is worth a 1000 words or in this case 3 pics.

A friend of mine had an SD for years and never knew the extension existed...One day while hanging out with a few beers..I popped the extension out and handed it back to him. He thought I broke it as it was WAAAY to big for his wrist. Now he's proud to say he knows he has it.....even if he Never ever uses it!

Hi Brett,

Welcome to the Forum and the 'how to extend the SD bracelet club'.

In OZ that would have cost you a slab.

I would have never figured the extension out without these same photos a few days ago. Thanks to whoever took them.
