one place I'm afraid to wear my Rolex to
The city's community centre where I volunteer my Saturday mornings teaching 40 kids aged 6-10 Karate and self defense.
I'm not sure a watch would survive lol Anybody else into Martial Arts?

Excellent of you Roger. I wish I had learned martial arts as a child. Played soccer instead

Nice of you Roger to spend some time with the community. Sure the watch better stay home during this martial art time.

Tae Kwon Do. Black belt, but it's been years. Gonna hit up a boxing gym soon.

Do you think instead of karate I can teach ppl how to use their Seadwellers as brass knuckles?

I teach budo taijutsu. Grappling, swinging swords, knives and sticks does not make a good environment for watches. No kids in my classes though.
My hat's off to you though for volunteering to teach the children. |

I'm an avid squash player, and golfer. I can't stand the feeling of wearing anything on my wrists while doing either.

agree. it might not get through that...
i had practiced most of my life...Tae Kwon Do, HS wrestling, San Shou, Krav Maga. most recently, i am thinking about starting back up again. however, i am having trouble finding a school that aligns with what i am looking for. will probably get a tai chi book and start up again there.
