Watch Winders

Hello,

I'm looking for a watch winder(s) for my growing collection. Specifically I'm looking for something with function over form - in other words, I want the thing to work, wind my watches and not cost a fortune. I'm planning on keeping this locked in my closet / safe so it's not a display piece. I need something that will wind Rolex, IWC & Jaeger brands - does that make a difference?

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Max

Welcome to the forum. Cheap watch winder = waste of money! although many on here will tell you that they are all a waste of money and use your wrist. I have a Rapport winder (having wasted money on a cheap winder with a motor that just kept giving up the ghost!) There are a number of threads on here to gain info from. Good luck.

I've got a cheap 60$ one from Amazon with great reviews. It also has two small drawers to keep links and a polishing cloth etc.

I'm happy with it until it dies. I've contemplated just keeping them in one of my safes but I enjoy the display. I'm sure the German shepherds will keep the bad guys at bay. Lol.

Chiyoda from Amazon. Gorgeous and the highest quality Japanese motor.

I have both Orbita and Wolf winders.
I have my Sub Date in one of the wolf winders and have had no issues.
My Omega Planet Ocean and Breitling however prefer the Orbita.
Bought all the winders through Watchcases online.
