DAYTONA still minty after 6months

Surprised that my watch is still so minty after daily wear for the past 6 months. This model is the only one I want in absolute superb condition because I think it looks best that way. Totally different character in various lighting. The Sub & GMT is a different story. They get a beating.

Why, Norm, your SS Daytona appears absolutely pristine! And, what incredible photography! Your very detailed close-up views, truly accentuate the rugged, yet, carefully refined elegance of this highly desirable timepiece. Enjoy, my friend!

So minty.... Nice photos you have there
I am keeping my 116334 mint too while wearing my 114060 as a daily beater.

Cheers,

uhh, do you wear it wrapped in a towel or something? hard to believe that watch has been worn daily for six months! very impressive. (not that there's anything wrong with scratches.)

Yeah, I can’t believe it myself. It is a subconscious thing where I automatically position my wrist from harms way in all circumstance. Experience gained from other watches that are not so minty. Crazy…. I know

Good to see an owner taking care of their expensive and enjoyed timepiece. Sure is a beauty !

I have a mint TT Dajejust for the early 90's...a Rolex dealer was stunned to see its mint/unpolished condition. Keep it away from the RSC's polishing wheel.
