I'm a size queen, like the Mega and Grande then Petite/hobnail.

You're making me pick one?

I'd probably go with the Grand then since it's what I own and it's a good balance of big and small.

But I really think AP did a great shop of fitting the design to match the case. I also like how there is various sizing and not a "one size fits all."

Proportions and looks. Larger waffles with the larger ROO case = sportier. Smaller waffles and engine turning with the smaller RO case = dressier.

I would argue that the Mega dial would look better on the 15400 RO given the larger dial real estate.

GREAT photos!

But I do disagree about the 15400. I like the Grand dial on it; the grand dial helps it make look like a modern sporty dress watch. I think if AP had used the Mega, it would have made it look more like a pure sport watch and also over powered the overall design of the case.

Love all of the pantograph carved dials...much more than the newer ROO stamped dials. I feel like the carved ones give so many more angles and depth to the dial. When you look closely the dial really comes alive.

Oh, i didnt know they stopped using the pantograph. That is sort of a downer.

When did that happen?

Can't say I have a favorite. They are all really nice.
Love that AP uses different sizes/patterns to distinguish various lines.

From what I've seen all RO dials are still cut on the pantograph along with the older SS diver and FC diver. The new SS diver, ceramic diver, 42mm ROOs and 44mm ROOs are all appear to be stamped/not cut on the pantograph.

I totally agree with you here, but I can't say I don't love my blue 44mm dial too!

Very true! I like all the 44mm ROO dials but the the blue dial on the Plat is amazing in person. It's a harder watch to photograph but totally pops in real life.
