Transglobe Expedition.
This is one of my favourites.
The transglobe expedition led by Ran Fiennes. One of the times I met him was at a co-op in the UK. He was promoting Dyson as part of a sponsorship deal, all we talked about was his wife's herd of rare breed cattle and the rugby! |

Rolex Explorer 2
This is an awesome advert, and highlights the red hand in all its glory.

Another great thread, Steve! I love these ads! The true soul and purpose of Rolex. Or at least it was... Thanks to all!

Love these old ads, they are what got me started on my Rolex yearning so many years ago!

The wife and I are on an adventure hiatus, other than the adventure of raising our 7 week old daughter.
We are going to have to live vicariously through your expeditions, until we can get our daughter out with us We still haven't found a gortex onesie!

Nice. Rolex print ads - old & new - are all very cool. And distinct. I like that.
