Take a short drive to South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. The Rolex store there has a fantastic selection. There are several other boutiques there as well. Omega, Jaeger-LeCoultre, IWC, Piaget, Patek Philippe, Tourbillon,Tourneau, Vacheron Constantin, Swatch, Mont Blanc, and more.

Everyone covered the watch shops, Southcoast is the best spot (IMHO) for your trip if you have time. You can watch shop and your wife can shop for things she likes. There are a lot of high end names in this mall. After all the shopping you can eat at the mall (Din Tai Fung - dumplings recently opened). Or there are steakhouses or seafood very close to the mall as well. Feel free to PM if you need some restaurant recommendations.

While is DL, I assume you will go to California Adventures as well?? If so, make reservations at Carthay Circle and try the fire cracker duck wings for a starter, steak and pork chops are good there for the main. Also go to the Cove Bar to relax and grab a drink and some lobster nachos.

Most importantly, have a great time with your family on your vacation.
