15425OR or 15202ST

Hello all.

I am saving for my next watch. Currently I really like 15425OR and 15202ST. I have 7.25" wrist and I don't like to wear anything larger than 40mm.

15425OR - I really love it. This can be my ultimate F*** off piece. But I am afraid that it may be too small. Unfortunately my AD does not have it in stock.

15202ST - True iconic AP watch. Cannot go wrong with thin profile, integrated steel bracelet look with the kick ass thin movement. But I already have Rolex steel watch so not sure if I want to own another all steel watch.

Although I don't ever plan to sell my watches unless I absolutely need to, but in the event that I need to, I think 15202ST will be much easier to sell without losing too much.

What do you think guys?

Thanks.

Do you mean the diamond piece, the 15452? If so that is a bit too much for me, so the 202. Maybe start on the SS and get the RG later if you have too many SS.

I can't seem to find the 15425or - is that the correct reference number?

Wrong reference

Not 15425OR, I meant to say 15450OR - 37mm 18k Royal Oak

15202 - without doubt. This classic AP will keep its value much better than any other AP. Furthermore: In my opinion, a 15202 cannot replace a SS Rolex because any Rolex will be more robust than this AP with its filigree movement and only 50 m waterproofness. So you will wear your 15202 at very different occasions as you would wear a Rolex.

For me the lack of seconds hands on 15202 made me flip it. I would prefer the 15450or. You get AP Rose gold finishing (amazing) paired with a seconds hand in familiar royal oak case.

I think it depends on what you are looking for in a piece, and what else is in your collection.

But yes, if you ever need to sell, the Jumbo will be much easier to sell.

Agree the gold brush finishing is wonderful.

Hard to deny the pull of the 202. Hopefully I will find out for myself in a few weeks..
