J is SOLID, as good as it gets!

I guess not all watches have B&P...

Yes, Jared is solid. A pleasure to work with.

And like ttg says, not all pre-owned watches come with box and papers. Those items are meaningless to many people.

thanks for replies. While I understand not all watches come with BP, i find it odd that majority of his listings are without B&P

No worries at all with Jared. I've bought a handful from him over the years.
Best,

The reason many are paranoid of someone selling a watch without accessories is people think they are stolen which is probably what the OP is worried about.
A well respected known trusted seller like Jared is no danger at all, you can be 100% confident all Jareds watches are legit. Many watches are sold without accessories, myself I have bought and sold many.

Box and papers on a watch is a lot less common to come across in the business than one would think... that is why there is typically an upcharge for a watch with box and papers compared to the same watch without... generally a watch with B+P will also be bought by the broker for a bit more cash as it is an easier sale and shows pride in ownership; someone who has kept box and papers probably took good care of the watch as well...

I imagine most forum members keep and store their B+P but for many people the B+P gets lost in the shuffle of life, especially on a 20+ year model. Most people have moved several times in that kind of time span and many watches are bought from a previous owner or inherited from previous owner and the box and paper were an afterthought in the sale. The older a watch model is, the less likely it will have B+P..

Very Good further explanation here!

Box and papers can be faked so don't trust them
