I need to trim the tree...
Hi fellow TRF's
Sometimes the collection becomes a bit big for only one wrist. And as time goes by, you are blessed enough to acquire more special pieces. From this roster, I need to let go of 3. Thoughts? Opinions? I have a clear idea of what I'm going to do but maybe you guys see something I might be missing. Fire away please and as always... thanks in advance. I have also posted this in the PP Forum to contrast some reactions. |

Retain the Daytona, ROC and Nautilus, although even in that group, I'd be looking to replace the Daytona with something else, rather than having two sports chronos.
Truth be told, I'd want to end up with a VC Overseas Chrono, AP RO 15300/15400, so only the 5711 gets to stay by virtue that the VCO would be the grey sunburst and the 15400 can be black or blue. Assuming you need a more formal style piece on leather, then a Glashutte Original Senator or H Moser. You could spend even less on a Zenith Captain or Bucherer Manero. If you still wanted leather but not quite so formal, then the GO Seventies would be a good alternative to give the collection a nice bit of variety. |

Millenary and Daytona for sure. For the last one either the Jules or Aqua, which one will depend on which you wear more -- Jules is a bit more unique in that you don't see many of them, and the version you have is my favorite amongst the various iterations.

I would do exactly this.
I would personally get a WG sub to have PM in the collection. Would also flip the ROC for a 15202; That is just me though. White nautilus with an AP jumbo are an amazing pair. What was on our mind to do? |

That's a serious collection! I echo the multitude that said bye bye to the Aquanaut, Daytona and Millernary. The PP could go if you like the Nautilus chorno or moonphase for later and that ROC is what I say is one of the two prettiest. The other being the brown dialled one of the same ilk. You've got a problem on your hand with that decision. I only wish I had the same problem. Good luck!

I love my Daytona and that gray red racing dial is my favorite. Will be trading my SS for the WG slate racing dial on leather soon.
Would absolutely 500% keep the Daytona and the panda dial ROC |

Get rid of the Daytona, Nautilus (I don't like the white dial version) and the Millenary.
You'll be left with a pretty damn tight set.

Sell the lot and start again. I do this every couple of years and find it very cathartic!

Really tough question Logan. I think it's going to heavily depend on what you want to do next. You have 6 nice pieces and 3 must go, so what's coming in and how many? Looking for dressy or sporty? Apologies for bombarding back with questions.

As much as I like the uniqueness of the Millernary, I agree with this.
