So sad, loved Adam 12 and Dragnet. Godspeed Sir and God bless your family. I have to confess that those two shows are what initially sparked my interest in law enforcement.

A great actor. I was also a big fan of Adam 12. Still watch them on reruns. So sad. RIP Offc. Malloy, Godspeed.

I didn't know that. Too bad. Adam 12 was one of my favorite shows. Some retired LAPD officers I know who worked with him (he really went to the LAPD range, for practice) said he was a nice guy, too.

Route 66 is the show I remember him from. I never watched more than an episode or two of Adam 12, as it started while I was in the service and I never watched much TV afterward.
It really hits home when I see these guys go down. He looks like a kid here.
