Polishing a Rolex Daytona

Polishing the bezel will remove some of the paint. Needs to be re-enameled.

I am also interested to see/hear how Rolex polishes their watches ... This seems to be the most common polishing technique I've ever seen on these forums.

Many Rolex parts are given an initial machine polish by robots rest is done by hand/machine and is no different to what you see in the video unless the men they use are also robots.
Rolex produces a million watches a year no way they have an army of humans working day and night to produce that many watches. Rolex uses robotics and specialized machines to produce the million plus watches or employ Oompa Loompas.

I thought the video showed the refurbishment of a used cosmograph not the manufacturing process, i must be mistaken obviously i'm a robot.

Yes it does but your saying Rolex don't do that and won't explain what you mean either - yes they use robots however to machine polish but otherwise it's men and machine just like the video there is no secret method to polishing watches frankly
