AP Schumi Laptimer Concept Video

Hi Guys,

Just want to share this youtube video I found in watchestv youtube channel.

If you watch it towards the end, the CEO of AP, Mr Bennahmias also mentioned the upcoming AP in-house ROC which will be launched very soon.

I am hoping for a 2016 SIHH launch, fingers crossed.

This was the video interview I was referring to when the CEO stated we would see an in house chrono movement within 2 years (I didn't rewatch the video so I'm going from memory)

Thanks for posting. I really hope AP makes a 41mm ROC with in house integrated chrono in platinum.

Thanks for sharing the video, theres very strong rumours of vacheron making their own in house chrono for the OS line so i would not be surprised at all if AP released their own in house chrono for their ROC

At this point it is a certainty. We first saw the video about four months ago. Nothing since to back track so lets hope. I guess the real question is will there be on movement for the ROC and the ROO chrono or have they developed more than one. If one, how big is it? Will it change the ROC to 42mm etc....

maybe a new RO chrono movement means a ROO movement will follow

or maybe they will use the same movement...is there any benefit to developing a second larger movement for the ROO just because the case is bigger? i mean it is not like a computer where you can fit a better system in a larger space is it?

AP has alluded to bringing out an in-house ROC movement for at least 10 years. So much so that I held off buying a ROC for many years until I decided that there's no point in waiting any longer.
