Possible to have a DSSD dial changed?
Just wondering, would it be possible to get your DSSD black dial swapped for a blue dial by a RSC?

I don't think any AD's would do this swap for you....I've seen a dial for sale here on the forum but it was about USD $5,000 if I recall.
You're better off just buying a Deep Blue - it'll cost you less!

Yes Sir - I've only seen one for sale here on the forum and it was $5k. May be easier to get in a few years if the Blue is still produced.
Case in point - I have a SS Daytona and bought the WG Panda dial for it, but that was still just over $2k for the dial and another $400 for the read sweep-second and sub-dial hands to match it.

If you do find one and swap it out, I'd avoid sending the watch to RSC for service as they might well take your blue/black and swap it back for an original black dial. They would likely charge you for the new black and keep your blue /black! Just buy a new Cameron and be done with it.

In order for it to be possible, you would have to source the dial independently, because no AD or RSC is going to do it for you. The answer to that is up to you if you are willing to pay what it takes to get it.

Thanks y'all. I'll stick with my black dial, which fine. I was just wondering if it would be possible.

It is exactly why the dial cost you 5k, isn't it? |

I truly wonder how this seller gets such a dial if Rolex is closing the net...by requesting the old dial if AD requests a new dial....
Unless the watch is beyond repair but the dial is still intact...but that is truly hard to imagine..... Or watch is stolen and the sellers sells the parts.....to avoid serial numbers... |

with enough money you can do anything, including just buying the D-Blue outright.

I asked the Dallas RSC this past August when I dropped off my DSSD for annual service. The answer was no. Granted it was very polite, but still "NO."
