Rolex BLNR Clasp Inside
Hi guys,
Ill be picking my new BLNR up soon but when viewing it yesterday i did notice something that i haven't seen before. The inside of the clasp where it says ROLEX with the scroll around it was all polished and wasn't a sand blasted with black rolex text. It was the brand new 2015 model so not sure if its a design update. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this ? Cheers, |

I've seen two different variations. One of them is sand blasted and the other is a polished version. Both authentic...
My BLNR is dated March 2015 and is sand blasted. |

Been discussed before, yours sounds like the "newer" finish. Here's a link. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...w+clasp+finish
Congratulations on the new GMT, how about a pic of that bad boy!

Of course these are purchase dates which is different than assembly/build dates.
I bought mine new in a coffin which had just arrived to the AD in June 2015, I was the first person to to touch it as I requested when I ordered it, it is polished. |

Mine was the exact situation as yours. Brand new in the coffin... Had just come in the shipment that day! You're definitely right about production vs sell dates, however I will say that this particular reference doesn't seem to be sitting around on the shelf for any amount of time...
