Non OEM?

Does it have to be OEM?

Vintage black

I believe this one is called the OEM vintage black. The term vintage on OEM refers to the cracked leather. For the model number, I believe you can find them in the accesories parts in the official panerai website.

Please let me know if your able to find one as my AD and good friend told me last week they have been discontinued. He went to special order one and was told they had zero inventory.

Its discontinued and no longer being produced by Panerai. You will have a very tough time finding this strap. No boutiques and dealers in the U.S. have anymore in inventory. I was lucky to get the last one from the NYC boutique earlier this year

In Turkey they have the dark brown one in stock for 220 euros.. But they will check for the black one for me..they have more than 1000 straps in stock. So they will inform me tomorrow. I'll keep ya posted..

I can't understand why they'd discontinue these. People obviously want them. Way to give the people what they want (discontinue popular straps, make snap case backs, etc.). Sheesh.

I tried on a new 510 yesterday at local AD and like the one on the Panerai website, it looks like they've already moved to a pretty plain or non distressed Monte Carlo black calf. Was the distressed black on older models?

Also, are all 510's sandwich dials be the new one I tried on did not look like a sandwich. Please advise and hope 007 finds his strap!
