Awesome piece, I was tempted to get a Pepsi as a first, but I got a SubC.

I may get one in the future!

Congratulations and Welcome !

Great choice, by the way ! IMO, a 5-digit GMT Master is quite possibly the "perfect" sports Rolex.

Wear it in good health !

I wanted something I could wear every day for work (office based) and the 'Pepsi' dial GMT Master II seemed a great everyday option, very cool looking but not too flashy/dressy. I am absolutely made up with it, one of my best purchases ever.

I'm a guitarist and have a number of guitars, many vintage, a birth year one etc and can now see how people end up collecting watches. I'm already browsing the vintage section, but I have much to learn.

Look forward to seeing you round the forum. :)

First off, Welcome to the forum! An I love your new watch as well, Pepsi is the way to go.

It's a 1968 Goldtop converted to humbuckers. it's the best guitar I own

Thanks again to everyone for the kind words and warm welcome. I took the watch to "the old watch shop" today to have it adjusted. The shop is in my hometown and I believe is well thought of on the forum. Very friendly service and a great little shop, so I can see why.

Thanks for the reply. You're much younger than me... That's why I don't have a birth year guitar, I was born in '59 !

Yes. '59 would be a somewhat expensive year to match!
