But if it was a meeting held next to bedside or clothes drawers there would be 18 TT DJ's for every sub. Everyone favourites uncle has one in the drawer and some are even genuine

Rolex Submariner
It's comparatively popular in the middle-high end watches circle for a reason. Think from another way, how many people that want to own a Rolex and how many of thoem are really lucky enough to own one?

WIS crowd? 75% I'd wager. It's a cult classic for a reason.
Non-WIS crowd? 25% max I bet. Maybe 10%. When most "normal" people think Rolex they think Datejust. A Sub isn't blingy enough for most people plunking down that kind of money on, what is to them, a status symbol watch. |

If it's guys only and you're talking about a cross section of regular people, there will probably be 8 Datejusts, 4 Submariners, 3 GMTs, 2 Daytonas, 1 Day Date, and 2 take your pick of OP, Explorer, YM, Milgauss, etc.
If it's 20 women there will probably be 14 Datejusts, 2 Day Dates, 2 OPs, 1 Daytona, and 1 take your pick of men's sport model. |

Yep....depends on where you are. I was in a small coffee shop in Aspen recently and counted four Rolexes (that I could see) in a crowd of maybe 15 people. There were 2 GMTs including mine, 1 Sub and 1 TT DJ.
