Yes there are loads here in the UK that offer 0% financing on Rolex.

The basis of this thread though is that the OP is stating that the particular AD he is dealing with is stipulating that there are restrictions on both Sub and Daytona models with the finance deal.

Yeah I understand. I just never seen someone offer financing on a watch here in LA

I think that financing opportunities (and also views on financing certain items) massively differ between countries like the US and the UK.

I bought a 214270 from WIS in Glasgow last year. WIS themselves offer 0% for 4 years but Rolex reduced that to 2 years. Why pay outright when you can keep the money in your bank for no fee? Anyway, there was no mention of some of the more popular models such as sub or Daytona. I suggest phoning around different ADs

Think outside the box here :)

www.barclaycard.co.uk - 37 month zero percent on balance transfers.... So pay it on your credit card and transfer it to Barclaycard and spread over 37 months. Check out money supermarket or similar for deals.

Also I'd never wait 1.5 years for a Daytona. I rung around a few ADs and found one and paid list within a weekend - ok I had to use charm on the phone but found one.
However It ended up I Didn't love it and moved it on a few months after but they aren't hard to find just need of bit of persistence.

Maybe they have experience with people defaulting on the loan for watches that are in the Daytona range and higher. There might be an agreement that the seller gets some of the proceeds of the watch when the sale is made and the rest over some number of payments. Perhaps the lender isn't willing to fork over enough to the seller up front to make the deal economical for the seller. If the lender won't give the seller enough to cover the cost and make some profit immediately then there is no incentive to offer the 0% financing.

someone has to pay for the financing. If the consumer isn't, the retailer must be kicking back a percentage of their profit back to the finance co. Hence on the more popular items that they don't need to discount, they don't want to give up anything that they don't need to. That said, it should be disclosed that certain models don't qualify for the 0%.

Since Apollo bought Aurum group changes have come through gradually so they don't do 0% of some models now as it hits their margin as the finance company does not pay them the full RRP so if they have a queue for the watch they want to sell full up money and no finance deals on the Daytona and other popular models...

I have been told by a goldsmiths and two WoS branches (all the same group) that 0% is not
Available of stainless subs, Daytonas and the black/blue GMT. They pay a fee to the finance company which is the same as them giving a discount on a watch. Why would they do that when there are these manufactured waiting lists. WoS offer 4 years IFC on most watches but only 2 for Rolex. One sales person told me this is why Ernst Jones lost their AD status as they were giving silly discounts and IFC terms.

I don't care if people think I'm wrong. It's not my opinion. I am merely repeating what I have been told by sales people in ADs. Whether that is true or not is up to you.

I bought my sub nd on 24 months 0% from Goldsmiths in Leicester a few months ago. Happy with the deal as the price I'll pay after the ifc is over is the same as if I'd walked in with cash. If they are still offering it in the future I'd happily buy my next watch this way. Now, mmmmmmmm............ Which one do I want next 😃

My Rolex AD in Cardiff offers 0% on Rolex but there are exceptions. It's not available on the DSSD D-Blue so I'm not surprised that the OP was told it's not available on a Daytona.
