The ultra cool chain mechanism

The chain mechanism "fusee chain" is imo one of the most cool grande complications in a wristwatch
Much more interesting than the overhyped tourbillon
I guess meanwhile every brand offers a tourbillon
From pretty cheap brands to the very expensive brands

A chain mechanism is something else
I think I can name only 3 or 4 brands that offer this complication

Look at it and you will realise this is something very special

Now if you want to see it n action .... A must see !
I made a video so you can see how it works if you wind the watch

Go to Instagram and look for "collectible_watches"
I also posted it on YouTube bit the YouTube quality sucks
So better look for it in Instagram

Hope you like it

I this case I do not like the Lange
You buy a nice complication and its invisible
Nothing on the front and even on the back you only have a very little hole that shows you a very tiny part of the chain

Zenith did a much better job

Ans concerning the level of finishing.... This zenith is much better finished than a standard zenith

Not many brands offer this complication but imo the zenith is by far the most interesting

I must be living under a rock because I have never seen this complication before now.
It looks very cool. Is this a new or old design?

I agree wholeheartedly... it was very difficult to even see the chain on first inspection. Still a cool piece, but you wouldn't buy it to show off the fusee-and-chain.
