I hate to make a "is it worth it thread" but...

Do you think that $1900 is a good deal for this 17013? Im only really interested because of the price. Iv seen them range from $1800-$3000 so im just not sure. Thanks in advance

Looks a well worn Oysterquartz. Need to see the bracelet. It's safe to say it's never been fully serviced, that is nothing appears to have been replaced. If the movement is still going it's impressive.

It would be nice to own a vintage rolex again and the OQ is very nice, just not sure if this is the one.

Looks well worn. If you're in it for the price I think you're in it for the wrong reasons. Would I pay $1,700 for a polished to town and back Quartz watch? No. Slapping the Rolex logo on it doesn't change my stance.

Yes I like the way it looks, I'm not saying I'm not in it for the watch just might have a higher chance of flipping it down the line and wanted to know if $1900 is a good price givin that situation.

That bezel is so worn, not sure if it would be an easy flip down the road. That said, if you do like the watch, I would just buy it and see what happens down the road...

Despite an unfortunate ignorance of the incredible 5035 movement displayed in this thread by a couple of posters, I too would skip it. Most or all of the case edging has been polished or worn away, and it's lost its OQ character. Five o'clock lume dot is missing, too.

Agree with Adam. I've been looking for the 'right' OQ for a while, and this one isn't a good looking example. The outward beauty of an OQ lies in the crisp (masculine) angles. This one has been dulled down quite a bit and has lost it's clean lines.

It's priced correctly for it's poor condition. I would pass.

Thank you Adam your insight has really helped me make up my mind to skip on this one, I am looking for a nice OQ but was just taken by the price of this one and did not know if for the price it would be a really good deal or not. I will wait it out for something nicer.

Good decision. Pay a bit more and get a good one, while they're still a great deal.

I would also advise you not to make any watch purchase on 'price alone'. I have made this mistake at least once.

The price is fair considering the (really sad) condition of the watch.

Not for me. Find a watch you really like at a price that is good and then buy.

At the right price I could live with an over-polished case and bracelet. But the fluting on the bezel is almost gone and a new bezel from RSC might be 50+ percent of this watch's price. For 2,500 dollars you can buy a better example of this same watch.
