Thinking of buying this 1680
Hi,
I have found this 1680 that I am thinking of buying. Do you see anything wrong with it? This will be my first vintage purchase. Thanks http://www.capetownstore.com/Merchan...y_Code=Rolex-C http://capetownstore.com/images/CDC/.../CDC121506.jpg Sorry I cannot copy the actual image |

I never feel comfortable looking at photoshopped pictures. Ask for more pics, as it's hard to tell the condition of the case and the originality of the crystal. It does come with a 1-year warranty which is nice. I would also ask for specific details, like the serial number. Late 1970's should be early 5 million (1977) to late 5 million (1979).
My problems with it are: -service crown -case looks thin, especially top right lug Good luck! |
