Some good news

Hi Guys, for those of you on TRF who are aware of health issues, work issues etc over recent months, some good news today, I have been cleared to resume my duties at the end of the month.

Not only that, but its my birthday today and I had a little pressie. Wonder what it is.

Actually I have been selling bits and bobs on the sales forum to help out financially during this period, I had got a sub date if you remember, well after a week or so neither my wife or I were comfortable or at complete peace about having it over two years, even though it was interest free. So we got rid of it and paid up the finance. I'd even been selling some rollies for someone in order to make a few bob. So I've been without. Up until now.

Try and guess what I might have. heres a clue

I'm a little confused here, Jon. If you wanted to buy another Rolex, why sell off the Sub in the first place?

Ummmmm Yeh I think it makes it all the more special that peoples hard earned cash has been laid out on you. A gift is a different kettle of fish than one you buy for yourself.

It was given to me this morning at breakfast, Still to reveal what it is

Oh- okay. I admit to being slightly confused from seeing it for sale, but hey, you must have a very fine family to make a gesture like that.

Big congradulations on an excellent watch, and even more so on the better report from the doctors! Its nice to hear you're feeling more on track Jon, been too long for you. God bless!
