Which one for me?
I'm trying to decide between two watches. Let me first start by saying that I have a GMT ll c right now and I want something that is very different that would give me equal wrist time with the GMT, but a totally different look. The 2 that I have thought about is the Deep sea blue or the DJ ll. Very different watches from each other, but also different then the GMT. I tried both and both are amazing. I like the size of the deep sea and I like the look in a different way with the DJ. What is every ones thoughts here?

Both great choices, I'm actually not sure which I'd choose. Which means my post is useless!
But whatever you choose, post pics. |

Since a DJII isn't really a dress watch and you like the size of the DSSD, I'd go DSSD blue now and look at a watch with strap as the next piece (JLC?). That would make for a great trio.

The DSSD looks dangerously similar to the GMT and the Datejust II has a again a similar look, especially bracelet wise...
If you want something totally different why not look at another brand? This is the Rolex Forum, but there are others out there.

If you want something different I'd suggest the DJ2. So many dial options available.

DSSD-Blue is a big thick watch really like mine. Compare several watches before you commit to it.

Why not look at the Milguass with either a white dial or the newer Z-Blue Dial.....both very different from the GMT

The DJII is very versatile. If I had a BLNR, I would opt for DJII for flexibility. Plus, it's a great watch in general.

I too have a GMT II. When I started to look for another Rolex with very different look, I decided to get the Explorer II white polar. Beautiful watch, totally different than the GMT II, yet it has GMT hand which I use very often.

Big fan of the DJ2 here...but I believe I would go after the D- Blue first. And then get a DJ2.

I like the versatility of the DJll...dress it up...or with flip flops n jeans. Diving watches and suits...really!? Call the fashion police!
