What other bracelet fits SS YM?

Although I think the SS/Platinum YM is a beautiful well crafted watch. Rolex could have done better on the bracelet, especially the clasp...IMHO.

With that said...will the SS Daytona or SS GMT IIC bracelet fit the YM:

TIA

Theoretically, the SS Daytona or SS GMT IIc bracelets would fit. However, imho it would not look good. The SEL's of the YM are different than the ones of the Daytona and GMT IIc bracelets.

What you COULD do, however, is to fit an SS Daytona clasp onto the YM II.

Jocke did this: "A mini YM review and a new clasp".

This modification makes good sense to me. The YM does have solid centre links like the Daytona and GMT IIc bracelets, but still has the "old-style" clasp with bent blades of sheet steel. The Daytona clasp, however, is much more solid in construction and has the "Easy Link" inside the clasp, as well.

Well, some bastid on this forum had the audacity to post a picture of his YM with an ORANGE NATO strap.

Naturally, I had to kill him....simple as that!!
