My decision to EXPII or SD
Last week I posted a thread asking TRF member's good opinions about should I trade my almost new EXPII to a 2-year old SD or not. I received many responses. I thank all of you. After reading all the replies and thought about that for a week I have reached my decision. I would keep my EXPII and buy the SD. The SD's asking price is $4K. It is a D series that was bought about 2 or 3 years ago according to the owner. It is put on sale at a local jewelry store that we have spend money there numerous times in the past. It has the red and green tags, inner and outer boxes (no sleeve), submariner instruction, and extra extension link, but no original warrantee paper. Is it a fair price? Need your opinions again.

The price seems fair.
What I don't like, however, is that the SD has all its bits EXCEPT the certificate. I would make sure that the watch is not stolen by contacting RSC (serial number is between the lugs at 6) and check the number on stolen watch lists like this one. Had the SD had service papers, it would have been a different matter. As stated, I just don't like it not having the certificate when the previous owner made sure to keep all the other bits.

Sounds like a decent price..
You have absolutely no need for a warranty paper made out in somebody elses name..
