I'm Stuck
For the past 12-15 months...I was switching watches on my wrist daily..one day a rolex, then next a pam....then a different pam...etc. etc. etc.
Then something bad happened.... I bought a 16710 coke a few weeks ago.....and it's had ALL the wrist time... Oh...I check on my others every now and then...and in fact, my IIc even had a small tear on the crystal ( that's tear as in crying...not as in ripped!).....and I just closed up the safe and went golfing. I feel kinda bad...about the others....but this watch....it just feels Perfect on my wrist.... Am I a bad person?

Steve, you are a BAAAAAD person, but i'm going to do you a favor, I will take some of your watches off your hands, that way you won't feel that bad.

My 16710 is in a safe in Tampa along with my PAM. I miss them both. You are not crazy, you just see that you have the next classic on your wrist!

I feel your pain....
My GMT 16710 get all the wrist time, while the GMT C spends most of the time in the safe!

Sounds like you need to sell all your other watches and just keep the Red/Black GMT.
Take the money from the sell of the other watches and travel to Malacca, Maylasia and stay for a week at the Majestic Hotel. The Red/Black GMT is a real classic and one I regret selling. |

I'm thinking about getting a PAM 88. At first I thought it was butt ugly, but it has really grown on me. Now to find it at a good price is a totally different story in itself.

We all know the pain,
I wonder how it all works in our heads to look & say "that one for now" Fond memories, where you bought it, compliments today's boxer-shorts, who knows? |

I realised that when i buy i new watch that i love it gets the majority of the wrist time for the first few weeks, and than after that normal service of switching resumes- so in my eyes it is perfectly normal if not expected

I understand your problem, I just bought red and black gmt11 and I have 25 other watches(not all Rolex's) and I haven't taken it off yet.

Shame on you, Steve! You are a baaaad person!
Can't blame you for preferring the old GMT II over the GMT IIc.

Same deal here, since getting mine about a month ago I haven't had a desire to wear my Sub or Daytona. The Pepsi is by far my favorite & it's also the most comfortable.

I feel your pain, Steve. I was wearing this one all last week. I wore my Breitling a couple days this week. But then yesterday, I had to put this one back on and this moring when I thought about changing out again to another one, I said, NAAHHH, let's just keep this beauty on.
Most comfortable and most beautiful watch I own.
