IMO DSSD looks foolish on the nato.

It looks nice on a nato but it does make the watch wear even taller than it is. I put it back on the oyster quick. Try the rubber-b strap, fits like a glove.

Looks better on a Sub, too much of the side casing showe between the lugs.

Looks nice on a nato even leather one but trust me you'll want the bracelet back on for wearing it the nato isn't practical or comfortable but looks great only

I can't figure how to post photos - tried many times, but have worn DSSD on nato and not bad really. Get 22mm which is slightly wider than lug width but will work and adds some side to side stability to watch head and is better proportioned than 21mm. Makes this works better than you think.

I wouldn't be a big fan of a DSSD on a NATO, and I even own a DSSD lol

Like was stated above, it's already a super tall watch, putting a NATO on it will make it even taller. A MIL strap is a no-go too IMO, because the watch is so heavy you'd have to have that strap super tight on your wrist just to have the watch head stay put.

Now, a Sub, or just about any other Rolex watch, would be fine with a NATO.

It really didn't seem too much taller when I was wearing it, however I don't wear tailored suit shirts, mostly short sleeves. It looks very sporty IMO, and at the price of what a NATO cost, why not pick one up and try it?

Well I appreciate the feedback guys. I wear a 5512 exclusively on a NATO so very familiar with how they feel on the wrist. I realize that we are talking a much larger and heavier piece, but I might just pick up a 21mm one (they're cheap enough) and give it a try.
