Nice looking gals, men in their 50's wearing Rolex's, unrealistic expectations overcome with cash, and presto, instant high risk situation. Some guys just aren't that bright, no matter how much money they have.

How did they get access to his safe? Must have been a shit safe or insurance fraud. I would assume the former as they exposed themselves to cameras like idiots.

Good thing I'm married. Wife would probably kill me if she finds out I'm out drinking with ladies and flashing my Rollie.

Crazy!!! I guess it's a good thing I'm not pretty at all. No woman has ever approached me in a bar unless she wanted free drinks or something. at least I immediately know upfront that there is an alterior motive when a hot lady comes up and starts chatting.

Older man gets approached by young attractive girl, stops thinking with big head and switches to little head. That's all par for the course but leaving his safe open? That's plain dumb.

Could have been scopolamine. I have heard of cases in which ones entire home is emptied with permission from the owner under the influence.

That's correct. Widely used in South America.

I think it's your nose. Looks much too big for your thin face. Also, you could use a comb for that hair. Tom |

You know what they say about a man with a big nose and big feet, don't you? He has a big nose and wears large shoes. At this point, I'm just very happy to have hair. Most people I went to school with are bald.

I just ask the Hookers up front if they are into Rolexes; if not, I'm good to go. Gentlemen, it is all about logic!

A little wiki knowledge... (my emphasis added)
Per the United States State Department (March 4, 2012): One common and particularly dangerous method that criminals use in order to rob a victim is through the use of drugs. The most common has been scopolamine. Unofficial estimates put the number of annual scopolamine incidents in Colombia at approximately 50,000. Scopolamine can render a victim unconscious for 24 hours or more. In large doses, it can cause respiratory failure and death. It is most often administered in liquid or powder form in foods and beverages. The majority of these incidents occur in night clubs and bars, and usually men, perceived to be wealthy, are targeted by young, attractive women. To avoid becoming a victim of scopolamine, one should never accept food or beverages offered by strangers or new acquaintances or leave food or beverages unattended. Victims of scopolamine or other drugs should seek immediate medical attention |

When I was in the military, we always were briefed on how to be safe in a bar. Part of it was physical security and the generic dangers of people you don't know (cold war era), but we also were told how not to get drugged and robbed. Only order beer in a bottle, open it yourself, and don't touch any part of the bottle to your lips that wasn't under the cap.
Years later, working LE in Florida, we provided the same advice to spring break college girls during the roofie craze. Anything in a glass is a risk. Some guys are forever 19, and in their mind still attractive to 22 y/o's, but bars still have bottled beer. |
