Management Consultant and I wear: Rolex GMT-II in Pepsi, and an anniversary Sub. Also, have several Panerai's which I consider almost a "sister brand" due to their history.

I own a Rolex Yacht Master 16622 and I work for the electronic company doing assembly line putting stuff in the oven. Making day to day to get by, I manage to get one been saving for 10 or longer years, tax money help me the most. I want to get it because at least I own a Rolex like everyone else and die happy knowing my money is well spent. You don't have to be rich to buy one, you buy one because you want it badly and you will feel good about yourself knowing what you could do. After that back to my saving. We don't know what gonna happen tomorrow so just enjoy while you can.

Prestonk - good for you, great post. So many of my younger employees seem to think they should get treated like the Kartrashians and have everything handed to them, with no work and no skill. It's cool to see that some people (you), still have the amazing ethic and drive to work hard, save, and then reap the rewards that they deserve. Kudos to you sir.... I have a SS submariner, and own three car washes in Texas.

profession/watch

I'm a firefighter and I own a Submariner 14060.

I mostly wear it on a NATO to keep and casual and downplayed. I enjoy the utilitarianism of the sub. I didn't buy a Rolex so I could have a watch that cost a ton of money, I bought one because I appreciate the craftsmanship and history behind these watches. Most guys I work with think that I am crazy, but to me it was money well spent, even it took a long time to save for it.

(and we all want to be Steve McQueen)

Financial company owner. I lend people money, but not for watches only non-movable fixed assets. GMT, Daytona Black SS, and passed down from father a 1967 two-tone date.
