A friend used them twice. Once for a 14/15 vette. Other for a 14' e350.
He had them inspected first. I've been in both, really nice and seemed pretty easy.

Works good. There is also a site called LeaseTrader.

Funny you should ask I have my car on leasetrader now. I'm skeptical but worth a shot.

What are you getting into or out of?

I am considering using the site also to possibly get rid of a current lease, any info is appreciated.

Had a car on Swapalease several years ago, it worked. A little choppy dealing with Mercedes, took a coupe weeks, I was told it takes longer with MB Finance. Supposedly BMW can process trade in days. I would use them again.

Appreciate the responses.

A quick Google search showed negative feedback from Leasetrader so I'm leaning toward the other.

Swapalease costs $40 to join and will look through the "sellers" lease to avoid any surprises such as a balloon payment at end of lease.

I just used Swapalease to take over a BWM lease. Swapalease is only an advertising site to match a seller with a buyer. They have nothing to do with that actual lease transfer, everything is done independently between the finance company and buyer/seller. I'm not sure how much it costs to advertise a vehicle but Swapalease charges $60 to get the contact info of the seller. That's how they make their money, pretty easy money IMO. Inspections, lease transfer fees, vehicle registration, and taxes are some of the cost to think about before deciding if the deal is worth it. If the seller has incentivized the deal to lower the payments then the buyer is responsible for either collecting that money upfront or having the seller pay it directly to the finance company once the transfer is complete. Hope this helps.

Taxes that are part of the monthly payments by the buyer?
Approximately how much are the lease transfer fees and registration?

I think my buddy paid $500 for the transfer fee. I believe it says it on the page that showcases the car.

Waking this one back up. Anyone else have experience with swapalease? My Q7 TDI has to be turned in by September to take part in the settlement claim. Thinking about doing a short term lease on something to float me to the end of the year. Curious if anyone had done that with swapalease. Thanks!

Worked great for me and I've been on both the buying and selling side.
