I'm in Barcelona for a few days.
Any tips on what to do/see would be grateful received.
It's my first time here

See the Salvador dali museum, if that's your kind of thing?

Everything Gaudi.

Miro at Montjuic.

Eat tapas and drink wine/sangria at tapas bars. Take in the atmosphere in the Gotic Quarter.

Forget La Rambla.

Just like Andreas said, the thing to do in Barcelona is to actively stay away from La Rambla.

Park Guell, and obviously La Sagrada Famiglia are must see's in Barca.

I'd like to go to Barca but I absolutely cannot stand, in fact hate all the awful Gaudi stuff.

Take a tour of Camp Nou

Wander through and get lost in the Barri Gottic. And what another posted, anything Gaudi.

People watch all the beautiful and well dressed Spanish women.

If it was warmer, barcolenta is nice too.

Enjoy the loud scooters. I went there on my honeymoon, it was too loud so we went to France and spent a week in a beautiful village by a castle in Colliure.

Not just anything Gaudi but Sagrada Familia. Also check out Mercado de La Boqueria for an amazing display of how markets, meats, seafood, and produce should be sold

Eat as much jamon iberico de bellota that you can. I went nuts with the stuff when I was in Spain.
